Woodbury-based Summit Orthopedics has been helping people in the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota lead healthy, active lifestyles for more than 30 years. Over 16 years and 20+ projects, Pope Design Group has helped shape and evolve Summit’s brand and care environments to meet changing healthcare delivery needs.

Summit Orthopedics’ new Plymouth Bass Lake Clinic and Plymouth Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) was developed by Scannell Properties as the first phase of the master redevelopment of the former 75-acre Prudential Insurance campus. The new 78,000 SF medical hub offers comprehensive orthopedics care, combining an ambulatory surgery center, clinic, physical therapy, imaging services, and urgent care.

The magnitude and capacity of services offered at this new location are incredible. Combining an ASC and Clinic under one roof offers convenience and familiarity for patients undergoing surgical procedures and seeking clinical services, physical therapy and bracing services, imaging and orthopedic urgent care. There are 54 exam rooms, 11 treatment rooms, full imaging suite with four x-ray bays and an MRI.

Summit Orthopedics’ new flagship location was designed with patient convenience in mind. Located at 494 and Bass Lake Road, the design features one of the state’s largest lit perforated panels, greeting visitors as they navigate to the campus. This 100’ by 40’ exterior perforated panel feature amplifies the medical destination and required extra coordination and research to execute.
