CountryHouse at Cedar Rapids is a purpose-built residence where those with memory loss live comfortably in truly homelike surroundings. Pope Design Group partnered with Agemark and Nelson Development on the new community.
The community is specifically designed for older adults with dementia by creating spaces that support individual preferences for privacy and opportunities for connecting residents and staff. It is designed as four small households of 8-10 resident suites organized in two wings. The households share a dining, living, activity and multi-purpose spaces.
