Sara began her career at her family’s firm, Scalzo Architects, where her passion for design thrived under the mentorship of her father. She gained not only a strong foundation in thoughtful, functional design, but also a deep appreciation for exceptional client service—an approach that continues to define her work today.

Sara serves as Pope Design Group’s Northern Minnesota Market Lead, overseeing the firm’s Duluth office and supporting clients throughout the Arrowhead and Twin Ports regions. She combines strong design expertise with a relationship-driven approach, helping organizations create environments that advance their business goals while strengthening the communities they serve.

Sara is a resident and active member of the Duluth community, and enjoys spending time on the North Shore and weekends at her cabin in Northern Wisconsin.

Sara is a Certified Interior Designer in Minnesota.
