Woodbury Plaza campus to offer retail, HealthEast Woodbury Clinic

Thursday, February 13th, 2014

Woodbury, Minnesota and its surrounding communities will have several new retail, dining and clinic options, thanks to the new Woodbury Plaza development opening by Fall 2014.

The new 15-acre Woodbury Plaza development will initially feature two single-story multi-tenant retail buildings, and the new 18,300 sq. ft. HealthEast Woodbury Clinic.  Pope Architects has assisted HJ Development and MFRA (civil engineer) on master planning the entire site, which includes several pad sites and parking plans. Pope Architects team is providing core and shell design services on both the two retail buildings and new HealthEast clinic.

This property and HJ Development were featured in the StarTribune in January 2014.  Chris Moe, Vice President of Leasing and Development and Owner at HJ, talked about the growth of the Woodbury market and the need for the Woodbury Plaza project.

“Woodbury is one of the top trade areas in the Twin Cities that is always looked at whenever a national tenant comes to town. A lot of our tenants are actually opening up their second and even third stores in Woodbury — they want to have a presence on the east side of the city,” shared Chris Moe with the Star Tribune.

The multi-tenant retail buildings are each roughly 7,000 sq. ft. and will feature a blend of retail, coffee shop, and restaurants. Learn more about this retail phase from our Woodbury Plaza project details.

The new HealthEast Woodbury Clinic will feature family medicine and pediatric medicine services, which are currently located at the Woodwinds Health Campus.

The entire development features a design aesthetic and exterior materials that are complimentary to the existing adjacent properties, including a blend of natural stone and brick.
