MREJ Awards: Saint Therese of Corcoran

Congratulations to all of Minnesota RE Journal’s Real Estate Awards finalists and winners. We join our client, Saint Therese, and the entire project team in celebrating the honor of the Senior Housing award for Saint Therese of Corcoran community.
The Minnesota Real Estate Journal hosts an annual Real Estate Awards program that showcases the top achievements and developments in the state.
Saint Therese of Corcoran
In collaboration with the City of Corcoran, Saint Therese purchased 13 acres adjacent to the City Hall for the new campus. Located in the northwest suburbs of the Twin Cities, the community allows local residents to age in place and near their families with options for independent and assisted living apartments, memory care, rehabilitative and skilled care all on one campus.
The community enhances the City’s new “urbanist village” by providing opportunities for intergenerational interaction and meaningful connections with the community-at-large. The design extends the walkable pedestrian aesthetic, connecting to an outdoor plaza and amphitheater, and incorporating the look and feel of Main Street. The connectivity continues within the buildings, as the design invites the broader community to visit for coffee, ice cream shop, educational programming, fitness center, and other activities.
