Celebrating Earth Day All Month

Pope’s Envision and Wellness Teams joined forces to host activities in April that support and celebrate Earth Day.

We’ve been celebrating Earth Day all month at Pope Design Group. From an organized low/no waste lunch, tips and tricks to reduce waste, park cleanup and community garden planting, there were opportunities for everyone to get involved in some way.

East Side Flats Cleanup: On April 9, we partnered with the Mississippi Water Management organization to collect trash and litter around the East Side Flats.

Envision Team Office BBQ: On April 20, Envision and Wellness Teams hosted the season’s first Pope cookout with a focus on low/now waste options.

Framework for Design Excellence: On April 22, the Envision Team hosted a discussion on the Framework for Design Excellence, providing sustainable ideas and resources accessible for all projects.

Community Garden Planting: On April 25, volunteers prepped beds and planted green onions and cabbages at the Beebe Community Garden in Mendota Heights. All produce grown in this community garden is donated to communities in need.

It was a great month of celebrating Earth Day!
