AMFP Upper Midwest: Annual Summit 2026

Monday, May 18th, 2026

Join Pope Design Group’s Eric Young, along with healthcare providers and other industry leaders at the Assoication of Medical Facility Professionals Annual Upper Midwest Summit. The event focuses on Healthcare Organizations’ Strategic and Capital Planning.

Healthcare facilities and capital planning leaders face growing complexity — tighter budgets, evolving technology, and rising security risks. This half-day summit brings together owners, facilities leaders, and their design and construction partners to share what’s working on the ground. Three peer-led panel discussions focus on practical, real-world insight from practitioners across major Upper Midwest health systems and leading AEC firms.

This year’s summit is on May 27, 2026 at Midland Hills Country Club. The event is a half-day event providing a deep dive into topics covering how to anchor project scope in long-term financial strategy, defend interconnected facility systems against rising cybersecurity threats, and leverage AI-driven tools to supercharge planning team efficiency.

Eric Young is a Senior Project Manager, Architect (MN) and Healthcare Team Manager at Pope Design Group. He leads the firm’s AI Committee and has over 17 years of experience in architecture and project management. Eric will be speaking on the AI on the Job panel, helping share practical applications of AI for healthcare facilities teams.
