Nolte River Place Apartments is a new affordable senior housing community, and the third phase of the Homestead at Anoka, a senior care campus developed and operated by Volunteers of America. Enhancing the existing campus with more affordable living options enables seniors with a wider range of incomes to live on the same campus.

The affordable senior apartments feature 80 units, with 40 for residents with income limits set at 50% of the area median income, 32 for residents with a limit of 60% of the area median income, and the remaining eight units reserved for homeless senior veterans through the HUD program.

The design complements the adjacent Homestead community. Amenities include a fitness center, flexible community room, salon, library and underground parking.
