The Meritex Company is a locally-based, national commercial property management firm that offices in a historic 110-year-old Fire Barn building in Northeast Minneapolis.
When the company’s lease was up for renewal in 2019, they took the opportunity to explore a more efficient use of the 12,000 sq. ft. space to accommodate company growth and elevate the branding of the workplace.
The team added two new private offices, a conference room, five collaboration spaces and a mother’s room/respite room, and right-sized workstations to accommodate growth. A new lobby fireplace uses steam and LED lights helps accent a waiting and collaboration area.
