Johanna Shores Campus

Presbyterian Homes & Services’ first senior residence was built in 1955 on 20 acres of land in Arden Hills.

Pope Design Group was selected to design Johanna Shores, a multi-phased redevelopment of the Arden Hills site. Johanna Shores was carefully designed and constructed to reposition the campus while allowing residents to remain onsite during construction.

Johanna Shores is situated to take full advantage of Lake Johanna views, curving along the existing bowl-shaped terrain to limit impact on the site and adjacent neighbors.

Pope Architects collaborated closely with us in bringing new life in an upscale project to Presbyterian Homes' original senior community established nearly 60 years ago in Arden Hills. Pope’s innovative design of Johanna Shores beautifully enhances the picturesque lake-side campus, and allowed us to keep the campus operating during multiple phases of construction.
