Open Access Technology International (OATI), based in Minneapolis, provides Web-based applications for the energy industry.
OATI Microgrid Technology Center is a new 5-story office building and data center. The 106,000 sq. ft. building features space for 300 employees, as well as a 9,000 sq. ft. training center. OATI occupies the Microgrid Technology Center on the second floor.
The building is designed as a showcase in energy technology with an internal, fully screened equipment yard, solar panels on the south elevation to take advantage of solar resources, and rooftop wind turbines to generate wind power. Learn more about its special features from OATI.
In 2017 the OATI Microgrid Technology Center was honored with a Minnesota NAIOP Award of Excellence.
