The Knute Nelson organization, founded in 1948, is the senior care provider of choice in the Alexandria area. Grand Arbor by Knute Nelson is a continuum of care senior community on a scenic 20-acre campus in Alexandria, Minnesota.
Pope Design Group has worked closely with Knute Nelson, in the design and development of the phased campus, which features a vibrant town center and a community wellness center. Both the residents and the broader community share the Nelson Wellness Center which features a warm water pool conducive for hydrotherapy.
Phase 2 includes more senior apartments and assisted living housing, as well as an expansion of the wellness center.
