Cross View Lutheran Church was growing and facing several space challenges — limited classrooms for comfortable fellowship, a continuous enrollment waiting list for their Early Childhood Center, limited Youth Group space, and no community event space. Pope Design Group was engaged to design an expansion and renovation to create a more inviting and supportive gathering and worship destination for Cross View’s congregation.
The project includes a 300+ seat multi-purpose room which includes its own catering kitchen, and the flexible space can be used for non-traditional worship, large-group activities and volunteer events. In addition, the project added adult education spaces, dedicated senior high and junior youth rooms, and an expanded narthex and entry with coffee bar and seating for relaxed fellowship.
