Lund Food Holdings, in collaboration with Schafer Richardson and IRET, partnered on a mixed-use development of the Lunds & Byerly’s Edina store site into a vibrant campus that blends housing and retail. This entire redevelopment is called 71 France.

71 France includes three new apartment buildings totaling in 450,000 sq. ft. of housing and 246 units. They also include 22,000 sq. ft. in retail on the ground level. Amenities for residents include an outdoor pool, balconies, underground parking and roof-top terraces. Each apartment building features it’s own unique combination of furniture, lighting and finishes that are derived from an initial palette selection.

The design emphasizes pedestrian pathways with convenient connections to the retail and the Edina Promenade.
