Windom Area Health: Elevating healing environments

Congrats to Windom Area Health as it gets close to completing a remodel of its Emergency Department.

Windom Area Hospital is a critical access hospital located in southwestern Minnesota. To better serve patients by improving privacy and improving staff efficiency, Windom embarked on a 4,200 sq. ft. remodel.

The ED remodel features a new triage with four new treatment rooms, new nurse station, cardiac rehabilitation room, trauma room, and behavioral health room. The project also included a new 5,000 sq. ft. air handler which replaces the original 1970s system.

The space should be ready for patients in March 2022.
