Twelve22 Celebrates Grand Opening

Congratulations to JB Vang Partners and the new residents of Twelve22 on its grand opening. Twelve22 is a new affordable housing development along University Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Originally designed by architect Allen H. Stem and built in 1922 for the St. Paul Casket Factory who called it home for almost 30 years, the unique building changed hands throughout the decades, to eventually be purchased by JB Vang in 2019 for historic renovation and redevelopment.

Pope’s team is honored to have been the design partner on this project, helping to preserve the historic integrity of the building, while creating a new 55-unit multifamily apartment development utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and Historic Tax Credits (HTC).
