ThriveNow Celebrates Recovery Center Grand Opening
Wednesday, December 11th, 2024
Congratulations to Nelson Construction & Development and Ascension Recovery Services on the grand opening of their ThriveNow Pleasant Hill Recovery Center in Pleasant Hill, Iowa this week.
This new state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to addressing the urgent need for comprehensive addiction treatment in the Des Moines, Iowa community. Pope Design Group joined more than 100 people for a ribbon cutting ceremony that also included members from the development team, police department, Iowa Dept of Health, and City Administrators.
“ThriveNow is here to help the community,” said Brandon George, chief strategy officer of Ascension Recovery Services. “Substance use disorder isn’t just about individuals. It affects families. It affects communities. And we need to respond in kind, so we’re excited to be here and support the community.”
Pope Design Group worked with Nelson Construction & Development and Ascension Recovery Services to renovate an existing vacant senior living facility to create a 12-bed detox unit and 38-bed residential recovery treatment center. This grand opening marks a vital step in addressing the addiction crisis in the region, offering comprehensive services to support recovery and healing. The facility welcomes its first residents this week.
Congratulations to Nelson Construction & Development, Ascension Recovery Services and the entire project team on the completion of this facility. To see more news on the grand opening visit the KCCI website.
