Summit Orthopedics celebrated its new cutting-edge Vadnais Heights Medical Center

Monday, April 14th, 2014

Summit Orthopedics hosted a Grand Opening celebration at its new Vadnais Heights Medical Center. The new facility helps patients save costs by avoiding hospital stays.

The new 68,000 sq. ft. Medical Center features an ambulatory surgery center, care suites for surgery patients, OrthoQUICK clinic, imaging and physical therapy services.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal featured how Summit Orthopedics aims to cut costs by keeping patients out of the hospital with the facility’s new “care suites”. The care suites provide a relaxing place for surgery patients to recover on-site.

Summit Orthopedics told the Business Journal that by avoiding hospital stays, the cost of orthopedic surgery is reduced by 20-30 percent.
