Spring Swap to Celebrate Women in Construction

Last week, to celebrate Women in Construction Week, Pope Design Group sponsored a Spring Swap Clothing Exchange Fundraiser and Career Development Workshop.

The event, in collaboration with Women in Facilities, Women in Construction, and Women in Real Estate, Development & Urban Planning, featured speaker Heather Boschke, who discussed and led a workshop on “Redefining Success by Your Rules.” Attendees donated gently used clothing and accessories and were able to shop the donations. It was a fun night to network, focus on career goals, and find newish clothing pieces for Spring.

Our very own Allison Barry, CHID, EDAC, organized the event with co-sponsors BKBM, Archetype, Mortenson and Parameters. We donated over $700 and a carload of clothing to support Dress for Success Worldwide. Carpenters Local 322 generously offered their space for the event.
