SOMIC Packaging Moves Into North American HQ

Pope Design Group congratulates our client, SOMIC Packaging, Inc. on their new North American Headquarters.

The new 48,000 SF building in Inver Grove Heights is more than triple their previous square footage and includes an expansive manufacturing floor and an enlarged area for warehousing of critical parts and consumables, 10,300 SF of office space, and 8,000 SF of second-floor mezzanine for future office expansion.

SOMIC Packaging, Inc. is part of SOMIC, a German-based company that develops and manufactures high-quality packaging machines for food, non-food, pharma and many other industries.

The new space in InverPoint Business Park draws inspiration from their showroom in Germany and supports their global brand and standards. A tour path through the office showcases SOMIC’s process and products to customers. Improved configuration and flow of office space, high-finish conference rooms with new technology capabilities, and views onto the production floor combine to create a comfortable and welcoming environment that allows for visual access between the office and production areas.
