PrairieCare hosted a grand opening celebration last week for their new medical office building in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

PrairieCare provides specialized behavioral health services to all ages. The new 41,000 sq. ft., two-story building will be dedicated to PrairieCare’s partial hospital program for youth, intensive outpatient programs for all ages, outpatient clinic services for all ages and administrative space.

The new facility is located adjacent to PrairieCare’s youth inpatient hospital, creating a destination campus for patients and their families.

“We are very happy with our new location. It offers our team the opportunity to increase our capacity for adult care and further open up access to mental healthcare in the area,” said Dr. Joel Oberstar, CEO of PrairieCare, LLC.

Ryan Companies US, Inc. provided development, construction, capital markets, civil engineering, landscape architecture and management services for the project. Pope Architects designed PrairieCare’s interior environment and HGA Architects designed the core and shell.

Healthcare Design Magazine and Ryan Companies shared the grand opening news.
