Pope Announces Promotion of New Associates

Pope Design Group is pleased to announce the promotion of three key professionals to Associate — Elise Kelly, Raphael Lister and Zac Rosenow.

The advancement of these talented team members is recognition of their contributions to the firm and the design industry, along with their commitments to clients, partners, and peers. (Pictured left to right, Elise, Zac, Raphael.)

The traits of each of these individuals continue to support our mission of enhancing lives through design,” said Ward Isaacson, President of Pope Design Group.

Elise Kelly, AIA, WELL AP is a Project Manager and Architect (MN) and has over 14 years in the industry, focusing on K-12 school and workplace projects. Elise has always been fascinated with the way the built environment can shape our emotional and physical experiences. As a WELL Accredited Professional and the founding leader of Pope’s sustainability-focused ENVISION team, she creates spaces that leave a positive impact on people’s daily lives with a minimal impact on the surrounding environment. Additionally, as a member of Pope’s DEI committee, she ensures an equitable approach to all projects. Elise earned her B.S. in Design from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota.

Raphael Lister, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP is the Director of Education, Project Manager and Architect (MN & VA) at Pope Design Group. He has over 25 years of experience on a wide range of project types, with a specialized focus on the planning and design of educational environments. As the leader of Pope’s education practice, Raphael excels at collaborating with clients, contractor partners and the design team to create thoughtful and motivating learning environments. Raphael earned his B.S. in Architecture at Virginia Tech.

Zac Rosenow, AIA is a Senior Project Designer and Architect (MN) on Pope’s Housing team, focusing on senior living and multi-family housing projects. He has over 14 years of experience on a wide range of project types, working with clients to balance site challenges and project parameters to design building solutions that enhance the lives of each resident. He is also a leader on Pope’s sustainability-focused ENVISION team, helping to educate clients and colleagues by researching ways to improve the legacy of architecture on the environment. Zac earned his Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Studies from Iowa State University.
