Pope Announces New Hires

Pope Design Group is excited to announce the hiring of Joanna Griffith, Christy Davis and Marie Fernandes.
These three professionals bring passion, perspective and design experiences that complement our company culture and architectural practice. We are honored and excited to have them on our team!
Joanna Griffith, Senior Project Manager
Joanna Griffith is a Senior Project Manager on Pope Design Group’s Workplace team. She is a Registered Architect in Minnesota with over 15 years of experience. In her role Joanna works closely with corporate, restaurant, worship and community-based clients and project partners, managing the design process from concept through completion. She is passionate about sustainable and community-enhancing design, infusing these qualities into each of her projects.
Education: University of Hawaii, Doctorate of Architecture; University of Minnesota, Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Minor in Design

Christy Davis, Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager
Christy Davis is a Senior Interior Designer and Project Manager on Pope Design Group’s Workplace team. She is a Registered Architect licensed in Wisconsin with 20+ years of experience. Her background in interior design and architecture includes a diverse portfolio spanning corporate, law and tech workplaces, multifamily housing, hospitality, retail and residential. In her role, Christy works closely with clients to design environments that engage people and create positive outcomes.
Education: University of Minnesota, Bachelor of Science – Architecture

Marie Fernandes, Senior Project Manager
Marie Fernandes is a Senior Project Manager on Pope Design Group’s Education, Community & Commercial team. She is a Registered Architect in Illinois with over 17 years of experience in the design industry, with combined artistic instincts and analytical strengths to deliver thoughtful, effective solutions for all clients. In her role, Marie partners with education and community clients to create functional and beautiful solutions, managing projects, and collaborating with design and construction teams.
Education: University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Bachelor of Science / Architecture; Illinois Institute of Technology, M.Arch
