RC Hospital & Clinics new hospital project obtained financing from the USDA Rural Development program.

Nathan Blad, CEO of RC Hospital & Clinics said obtaining USDA financing process was “very much a community effort”.

The successful approval will help make the new 62,000 sq. ft. hospital on a 43-acre site along U.S. Highway 212 in Olivia, Minnesota a reality.

Pope Architects has been working with the hospital and community to plan and design the new facility. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2014 and should open for patients by fall 2015.  Yanik Companies is the Owner’s Representative and McGough Construction is building the new hospital.

Nathan Blad said “The new medical center is vital to carrying out our strategic initiatives going forward; which include recruiting and retaining quality providers, staff development and clinical process improvement, along with the addition of robust clinical service offerings.”
