Lowa46 was recognized with the 2019 Minnesota Shopping Center Association’s STARR award in the Mixed Use category.

The MSCA STARR Awards are presented annually to recognize excellence in the retail and shopping center industry.  STARR stands for Shopping Center Tribute Award for Retail Real Estate.

Lowa46 is a transit-orientated, mixed-use development that includes 148 market-rate one- and two-bedroom apartments and penthouses, a 46,000 sq. ft. first-of-its-kind urban Cub Foods grocery store, 3,000 sq. ft. small-shop retail, and a large public plaza.

The site is a confluence of 46th & Hiawatha, Multi-Modal Transit, Minnehaha Creek and Mississippi Riverway, and Minnehaha Park. This convergence of urban appeal and elements of nature shaped the design foundation. Lowa46 serves adventure-seeking residents that desire to be connected to each another and in a vibrant, authentic home with convenient amenities.

The design elegantly ties the buzz of the Cub storefront, street retail and outdoor dining, with the privacy needs and luxury amenities of apartment residents with separate entrances and an expansive rooftop patio element that also opens the complex to the surrounding neighborhood.
