MREJ Awards: Cassia Haven Homes Senior Health & Living

Congrats to all of Minnesota RE Journal’s Real Estate Awards finalists and winners. We join our client, Cassia, and the entire project team in celebrating the honor of the Senior Housing – Assisted Living award.

The Minnesota RE Journal hosts an annual Real Estate Awards program that showcases the top achievements and developments in the state of the past year.

Cassia Haven Homes Senior Health & Living

Cassia is a provider of senior housing and healthcare, and an affiliation of long-standing organizations Augustana and Elim Care. Haven Homes Senior Health & Living is the first community under Cassia’s brand and is the largest single development in the community of Maple Plain, Minnesota. Haven Homes replaces an outdated 1960s care center with a full continuum community designed with transitions in mind. The design blends elegance and simplicity, creating a modern lifestyle for residents. The community is part of a rapidly growing area known as the “Gateway to Maple Plain” with convenient connections to nature, retail and transit.

The original care center was built in the 1960s when little thought was given to providing space for amenities that elevate resident quality of life or staff retention. The new Haven Homes community is focused on wellness and rich in amenities, with resident-centered apartment design, a vibrant town center, restaurant-style dining, cheerful living and activity spaces, outdoor courtyards, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and convenient access to parks, shopping and mass transit.

Haven Homes is a beautiful gateway to the city of Maple Plain, and to western Hennepin County. This location, and Cassia’s commitment to this community, gives local residents the opportunity to age in a familiar place that they call home.
