Math and Science Academy in Woodbury Celebrates Groundbreaking
Tuesday, May 6th, 2025
Math and Science Academy in Woodbury held an official groundbreaking on May 5, 2025 for their new $55 million school for students in grades 6-12.
Math and Science Academy is a growing charter school serving 730 students in grades 6-12 in St. Paul’s 833 school district just 2 miles from the new site. The roughly 37-acre site will be home to a new 125,000 SF building for students in grades 6-12. The project also includes landscaping improvements, parking and athletic fields. The new campus will allow the school to double its enrollment and convert existing spaces to an elementary school.
Members of the project team in attendance included Pope Design Group (design), Rochon Corp. (construction) and JB Vang (owner’s representative). Construction completion is expected by mid-August 2026.
