Kraus-Anderson Companies readies Minneapolis block for new headquarters and development

Kraus-Anderson Companies razed it’s existing downtown Minneapolis, MN office building last week to make way for construction of their new 5-story, 95,000 sq. ft. headquarters as well as adjacent building projects. The development includes the area between 5th Avenue S., Portland Avenue S. and 8th and 9th streets S.
Pope Architects designed the new Kraus-Anderson Companies Headquarters, which includes office space for 300 employees, conference rooms, a training center, a cafeteria and a fitness area. Kraus-Anderson will be located on the northwest corner of the site, and includes a fifth floor outdoor deck with downtown views.
ESG Architects is the architect on the other components of the block development, which include a 17-story apartment tower, boutique hotel, and Finnegans brewery. Recent renderings of the project can be found in a feature in the Star Tribune from March 15, 2016.
