Guardian Angels’ is welcoming residents to Engel Haus, a new senior community in Albertville, Minnesota.

Pope Architects housing team designed the new senior community and Kraus-Anderson Construction was the builder. Pope and Kraus-Anderson have partnered with Guardian Angels on many projects, including a repositioning of the Elk River campus.

Engel Haus is a two-story, 63-unit senior community owned and managed by Guardian Angels. The community will celebrate its grand opening on October 29.

“It’s the people who will make this house a home for their future. And we think it fits the community very well,” said Ward Isaacson, Principal and Housing Team Leader.

The RE Journals reported on the completion of the project. Engel Haus will provide catered living services in apartment homes, assisted living and memory care, housed in a Bavarian-themed community that complements the region’s history and culture. The site accommodates a later phase that could approximately double the square footage of the 15-acre campus.

Finance and Commerce also reported on the new community.
