Expansion of Presbyterian Homes’ Norris Square in Cottage Grove moves ahead

Tuesday, February 7th, 2017

Presbyterian Homes & Services announced plans to move ahead with a major expansion of the Norris Square campus in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.

The existing senior living community opened in 2007. Norris Square was initially designed as the cornerstone of a mixed use development which would include future retail.

Following increased demand for senior housing services in the market area, Presbyterian Homes is proceeding with two building expansions that add independent living, memory care and skilled care housing and services. The Star Tribune shared Presbyterian Homes’ new plans for the site in it’s Hot Property feature.

The addition also includes a new town center that offers amenities for residents, including an expanded wellness center and community gathering spaces.

Pope Architects is the architect for the community, and is the same team that designed the first phase of Norris Square. The expansion will break ground spring 2017.
