Erica Larson Promoted to Vice President of Pope Architects

Pope Architects is pleased to announce Erica Larson, CID, CHID, EDAC, LEED AP BD+C, is being promoted to Vice President. In this new role, Erica will continue her leadership in the firm’s interior design, corporate and healthcare practices and expand her involvement in the management of internal operations and growing client relationships.

Erica graduated from the University of Minnesota and joined the firm in 2002.  Over the last two decades she has emerged as an inspiring and effective leader, fostering positive change and substantial growth for Pope Architects. When promoted to partner in 2014, she became the firm’s youngest and its first female stockholder. The promotion to Vice President recognizes her dedication to the profession, to her clients, and her commitment to the growth and success of the firm.

Erica leads Pope’s Workplace Strategy Group where she manages programming, facility planning and design of corporate offices for many local, Fortune 500 and global companies. She also manages Pope’s Healthcare practice, overseeing employees and client accounts, while leading the design of mental health, outpatient and inpatient settings. Her passion for mental health awareness has helped shape the firm’s focus in designing supportive mental health settings that are safe, modern, and therapeutic for patients and families.

Erica serves on the Minnesota State Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Survey, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design, and is on the Board of Directors for the PrairieCare Child and Family Fund. She is a Certified Interior Designer, a Certified Healthcare Interior Designer through the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers, Evidence-Based Design Accredited and Certified through the Center of Health Design, and a LEED Accredited Professional through USGBC.
