Tuesday, July 14th, 2020

Pope Architects’ Managing Principal Erica Larson was selected as one of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s 2020 Women in Business. The award program recognizes 50 women who are industry-leading executives, entrepreneurs and business owners for their professional successes and community involvement.

Erica’s mention is included on the MSP Business Journal website, which can be found here: MSPBJ Announces 2020 Women in Business [subscription required].

Erica started her professional career as an intern at Pope Architects, and over the past 18 years she emerged as a leader, fostering positive change and substantial growth for the firm. In 2014 she became Pope’s first female and youngest partner/owner. Today, Erica is a member of Pope’s Executive Leadership Team which guides and manages operations and business decisions across the firm.

She excels at collaborating with each client and spending time on even the smallest details, as she understands how each decision impacts the people she’s designing for. Erica leads the strategic programming and facility planning of corporate workplace environments for many Fortune 500 and Minnesota-based corporations, applying her passion and intimate understanding of how people are impacted by their physical surroundings.

Erica manages Pope’s healthcare practice and is the design leader on ambulatory surgery centers, family practice and specialty care clinics, mental health facilities, and critical access hospitals. She is committed to raising awareness for mental health, and she spearheaded launching Pope’s behavioral and mental health design practice by helping clients create safe, modern and therapeutic settings for patients and families.

Erica will join all of this year’s honorees during an October 7th virtual event and a Women in Business special publication.
