Double Award Winner: Memorial Blood Center Apple Valley Donor Center

Last week at the Minnesota Shopping Center Association’s (MSCA) 2024 STARR Awards celebration, Memorial Blood Centers Apple Valley Donor Center was recognized as the winner of the Innovation and Interior Design Retail/Non-food categories.

The MSCA STARR Awards are presented annually to recognize excellence in the retail and shopping center industry.

The Memorial Blood Centers Apple Valley Donor Center is located in a new Cider Ridge retail development. The project was recognized for creating a convenient place to serve the community in an environment that blends hospitality and healthcare. The space offers transparency and comfort for donors with features like an airy welcome lounge and café with a variety of seating options, a fireplace, beautiful wood features, statement fixtures and ample daylight with the building’s expansive glass exterior.

Memorial Blood Centers have been saving lives since 1948 as an independent blood center. Memorial Blood Centers Apple Valley expands lifesaving blood donation to a new Twin Cities suburb and provides donors with a modern facility with many amenities.
