Deephaven Woods Senior Living starts construction

Construction has started on Deephaven Woods Senior Living, a new senior housing facility on the campus of the Church of St. Therese in Deephaven, Minnesota.

The Church selected the development team of Ebenezer, Kraus-Anderson Construction and Pope Architects to design, manage and build a senior living facility on their 26-acre campus.

The Church’s desire was to further it’s mission by providing a housing option to Deephaven’s senior population.

The Minnetonka Patch publication featured the groundbreaking.

“We’re excited to be working with St. Therese to build this special place which will serve all people in the greater community,” said Susan Farr, vice president of business development for Ebenezer.

Deephaven Woods includes 78 units of independent, assisted living and memory care units, and the community features many outdoor amenities, such as the established community garden.

The Star Tribune also recently featured an article describing the impact that facility will have on it’s growing population of seniors.  “Our goal is to be sold out by the time [Deephaven Woods] opens, and we remain confident that demand will be high for this project,” said Farr.
