Friday, September 28th, 2012

Corry Memorial Hospital’s new facility opens its doors for patients on September 30, 2012, after more than 18 months of construction.

The new 20-bed hospital is located on a 25-acre, partially wooded hillside surrounded by beautiful vistas. Corry Memorial Hospital has been serving the community for nearly 80 years.  The new campus will help the hospital provide state-of-the-art services and care.

Pope Architects designed the replacement hospital to enhance patient safety and maximize operational efficiency.

“It is the most exciting time of my life. And hopefully for the whole community. I think they will be absolutely shocked at having a state-of-the-art building with state-of-the-art equipment to match the skill knowledge of our employees,” said Nichols.
