Cerenity Senior Care Embarks on TCU Expansion

Monday, November 26th, 2012

Cerenity Senior Care in White Bear Lake, Minnesota broke ground earlier this month on an expansion that includes Transitional Care, a new Wellness Center and Chapel.

Pope Architects designed the expansion and has been helping Cerenity master plan its campus.  Cerenity Senior Care shared the news of the groundbreaking and “ground blessing” ceremony their website.

The project includes 40 private TCU rooms that focus on short-term rehabilitation, a 4,200 sq. ft. wellness center with therapy room and warm-water therapy pool, and a new chapel to accommodate a larger group and technology for service transmission.

Greg Baumberger, Administrator/CEO of Cerenity White Bear Lake shared with the group —”I had a family member as part of a satisfaction survey make a comment that said, ‘Your staff are second to none, but your building is tired.’ It’s true, and so this opportunity to have our buildings be less tired is a wonderful thing for the people we serve now and for the next 55 years.”

Construction is expected to be complete by Fall 2013.
