Celebrating the 25-year Pope career of Rob Howard

Thursday, December 12th, 2019

The end of 2019 marks the end of Rob Howard’s career at Pope Architects.

It all started in 1994, the year the Zip Drive came out, Disney’s The Lion King was released, and the Wisconsin Badgers won the Rose Bowl. But more importantly, it was the year that Rob joined Pope Architects.

Rob Howard graduated from University of Notre Dame in 1978 and worked for two architecture firms before joining Pope in 1994. His 40+ year career has focused on a variety of project types including industrial, worship and institutional architecture, as well as senior living, multi-family housing and retail projects.

He is most known for his unique ability to make a quick assessment of design challenges and create high quality and well-conceived outcomes. Rob’s approach to design combines a high level of technical knowledge, sensitivity to goals, and great people skills. Through his twenty-five years at Pope, Rob became most known for his blended hand sketch, computer imagery and mastered 3D tours.

Thank you for all you offered to Pope Architects and our clients over the years. Your beaming personality has impacted all we do. We are so happy for your Rob and your next adventures!
