Bethesda Celebrates Groundbreaking for StoneRidge

Pope Design Group joined Bethesda, Marcus Construction, the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Willmar last week for the groundbreaking of Bethesda’s new StoneRidge active aging community.

Bethesda, a non-profit organization, has been caring for seniors in West Central Minnesota for more than 100 years. StoneRidge, a 55+ community, will offer 118 units of active adult independent, catered living.

The community will feature luxurious amenities such as formal and casual dining, a fitness area, outdoor spaces, a club lounge, rooftop deck, and underground heated parking. The building’s design is tailored to promote active lifestyles, socialization, and maintenance-free living.

“We’re excited to partner with Bethesda on this unique project for Willmar’s 55+ community. We’ve had fun getting to know their team and are committed to Bethesda’s long-term growth and success. This project will provide amenities that promote a healthy lifestyle and we can’t wait to bring this to the people of Willmar,” said Christine Soma, AIA, Principal at Pope Design Group.
