Friday, September 14th, 2012

Construction commences on the new Mercy Specialty Center.

Allina Health System hosted a groundbreaking for the new Mercy Specialty Center this week.

The new 120,000 sq. ft. medical specialty center is directly adjacent to the existing Mercy Hospital.  Allina owns the land for the new MOB which will link to the hospital via skyway over Coon Rapids Blvd.

As reported in the Coon Rapids Herald, Mercy Hospital’s President, Sara Criger, said the new Mercy Specialty Center will continue to make the hospital a “destination campus.”

Frauenshuh is the developer and building owner, Pope Architects is the core and shell architect, and Kraus-Anderson Construction is the general contractor.
