Congratulations to Windom Area Health! Pope Design Group joined our colleagues and other commercial real estate industry members for the 42nd Annual NAIOP of Minnesota Awards of Excellence this week.
The NAIOP of Minnesota Awards of Excellence is one of the most significant events of the year for the commercial real estate industry to honor the year’s top projects. We are excited to share that Windom Area Health Medical Building won the Medical/Medical Office category.

Windom, Minnesota
Windom Area Health serves Windom and communities in southwest Minnesota. With increasing patient volumes and needs exceeding capacity, WAH expanded services with a clinical addition, enhancing wellness opportunities and optimizing patient convenience. The new 4-story Medical Building expansion replaces a single-story clinic on their campus, and houses Sanford Health Clinic, Windom Specialty Clinics; a third-floor shell space accommodating future growth and a Wellness Center fills fourth floor.
To enhance local residents’ health initiatives, the wellness center offers a community membership gym, outpatient rehab services and a small kitchenette with flexible multi-purpose room that is available to the community. The new Windom Area Health Medical Building demonstrates continued healthcare collaboration within the region, enhancing patient convenience and a continuity of care.
