PrairieCare received the green light to move forward on plans for its new hospital in Brooklyn Park, which will be dedicated to helping children and adolescents receive inpatient care for behavioral health and mental health illnesses.
The Brooklyn Park City Council voted unanimously on February 24, 2014 to approve the project development. PrairieCare’s new 66,600 sq. ft. hospital will open by Fall 2015, filling a growing need for children and adolescent mental health services.
Pope Architects has worked with PrairieCare since 2010 on several facilities, including the Maple Grove hospital, and clinics in Woodbury, Edina, Chaska and Rochester.
