Johanna Shores Celebrates Campus with Dedication Ceremony
Wednesday, November 6th, 2013
Presbyterian Homes of Minnesota’s first senior residence was built in 1955 on 20 acres of land in Arden Hills. The redevelopment of this campus, Johanna Shores, was an exciting undertaking for the organization and its community.
Johanna Shores and Presbyterian Homes held a dedication celebration on November 5 to recognize all the people and efforts involved in the new facility and redeveloped campus. Pope Architects was honored to be a part of this project.
The team designed and sited the building to highlight the natural surroundings and outdoor amenities. The campus is located on more than 800 feet of private shoreline of Lake Johanna, and includes walking trails, terrace, dock and outdoor chapel. Each resident unit and common space on the lake-side captures the picturesque views.
Johanna Shores was built by Weis Builders, and completed in two phases. The facility was fully opened in October 2013.
