Benedictine Health System St. Crispin Living Community Holds Blessing and Groundbreaking

Benedictine Health System’s St. Crispin Living Community held a blessing and groundbreaking on June 12, 2013 for their proposed new 80,000 square foot Senior Living and Post Acute Care facility in Red Wing, MN.

Speakers at the event included Dale Thompson, BHS CEO, Chris Boldt, Vice President of Operations, Dr. Tom Witt, CEO Mayo Clinic Health System Red Wing, Lake City and Cannon Falls and Represen­tative Tim Kelly.

This new state-of-the-art facility will feature 80 skilled nursing beds, 40 post-acute care, and 40 long-term care. The two-level facility will also feature neighborhood concepts with a new model of senior care and a rehabilitation center equipped with a therapeutic pool. Construction of the new facility is expected to begin this August 2013, with plans to open Fall 2014.
