Matsuura Machinery USA opens first headquarters at River Bend

Matsuura Machinery USA is celebrating the grand opening of its first U.S. Headquarters at Saint Paul, Minnesota’s River Bend Business Park. 

The company shared the news on its website.  The grand opening and press conference was held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 with special guests Mayor Chris Coleman, Saint Paul Port Authority President Louis Jambois, and company’s third generation owner, Katsu Matsuura.

Japan-based Matsuura Machinery’s new U.S. headquarters occupies 38,000 sq. ft. at the River Bend Business Park along the Mississippi River in Saint Paul.  The facility includes a large showroom, demo area, conference and training rooms, storage and office space.

Pope Architects worked with Wellington Management and Matsuura Machinery USA on the new distribution center.  Matsuura occupies most of the third building in the River Bend development. The Star Tribune featured the ribbon cutting ceremony.
