HealthStrong’s™ “Top 100” Critical Access Hospitals announced

Recently iVantage Health Analytics published their annual HealthStrong™ Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals for 2013. We are pleased to announce that several of Pope Architects clients and partners made the list.

These projects include Redwood Area Hospital in Redwood Falls, Minnesota and Essentia Health-Fosston in Fosston, Minnesota. We CONGRATULATE you on your outstanding efforts in establishing and maintaining strong and healthy hospital environments.

According to the HealthStrong™  iVantage Health and the National Rural Health Association; The Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals are the nation’s best rural safety-net institutions. The Hospital Strength Index is a comprehensive scorecard of more than 50 areas of criteria that evaluates: market conditions, clinical and operational performance, and financial and qualitative outcomes.

As Patricia Wangler, CEO of Essentia Health-Fosston stated in a press release released March 25, 2013; “The significance of being named a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital is that it demonstrates we are working at a high level of performance. We are getting a good handle on the Triple Aim of delivering an exceptional patient experience and high quality at a lower cost,” Wangler said.
