Good Samaritan Society I’Falls is taking shape, despite snowy winter

Thursday, February 28th, 2013

Construction on Good Samaritan Society’s new Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facility is progressing quickly during these winter months in northern Minnesota.

The new campus will be opening in July 2013 and features 54 skilled nursing units and Northwinds Assisted Living with 24 private apartments.  Pope Architects designed the community around a “neighborhood” concept to enhance the resident-centered culture and maximize staff efficiency.

Northwinds features three neighborhoods with eight units each, with support and activity spaces for each.  The I’Falls Journal reported on the new community earlier this year.
