HGTV’s West End Salvage to feature Pope Architects Interior Designer

HGTV’s new “West End Salvage” show will feature Jill Schroeder, Pope Architects very own Interior Designer.

West End Architectural Salvage is a four-story architectural salvage center, owned by Don Short, and located in Des Moines, Iowa.  The outfit specializes in giving the store’s salvaged items from around the world a new life.  “Someone’s trash is always someone else’s treasure!”

Pope Architects partners with West End Salvage on nearly each of our senior living interior design projects.

HGTV will premiere it’s new show “West End Salvage” on February 14, 2013.  The show follows Don and his crew as they update homes in central Iowa.  Jill Schroeder, C.I.D., is the lead interior designer for Pope Architects’ housing practice.  Jill will be featured showing how West End Salvage has helped enhance the design of many of Pope Architects’ projects.  “West End Salvage” is a 13 show series.

Pie Town Productions, a reality television production company based in Los Angeles, spent a few weeks filming in the Des Moines area.  Pie Town also produces “House Hunters” and “Joan and Melissa”.
