Thursday, September 27th, 2012
Construction kicked off this week on Beckhoff’s new facility in Savage, Minnesota.
Beckhoff Automation, headquartered in Verl, Germany, manufactures and markets a series of advanced technology control systems. To continue to grow their North American operations, Beckhoff engaged Pope Architects, in partnership with Anderson-KM Builders, to design and construct a new U.S. Headquarters.
Pope Architects has worked with Beckhoff for the past two years, assisting with programming, site and existing building evaluations, fit planning, and now implementation.
The design team has interfaced not only with U.S. Operations, but also with the company’s German-based Managing Director, Hans Beckhoff, who is personally involved with the design.
The new 49,000 sq. ft. facility includes office, training, conference, and technical space, as well as warehouse and distribution functions.
