Bethesda, a non-profit organization, has been caring for seniors in West Central Minnesota for more than 125 years. Bethesda StoneRidge is a new 55+ community that offers 118 units of active adult independent living with luxurious amenities such as formal and casual dining, fitness area, expansive outdoor patio, rooftop deck, and underground heated parking.
Bethesda is a long-standing cornerstone of the Willmar, and this building brings much-needed housing and amenities to the community, while elevating the organization’s presence and future growth. This is the first stand-alone independent living facility in the Willmar area, offering local residents a new vibrant home to transition to that is in their community and near their family and friends.
An expansive outdoor patio and second-story deck design helps connect to the existing Bethesda campus and adjacent neighborhood. It overlooks the main street through town, drawing community members into the activity of the campus. The outdoor space was intentionally designed to be flexible, and potential plans for StoneRidge include summer concerts and farmers markets to support and integrate further with the community.
