Congratulations to Designing Earth Contracting! Pope Design Group joined our colleagues and other commercial real estate industry members for the 42nd Annual NAIOP of Minnesota Awards of Excellence this week.
The NAIOP of Minnesota Awards of Excellence is one of the most significant events of the year for the commercial real estate industry to honor the year’s top projects. We are excited to share that Designing Earth Contracting won the Office Build-to-Suit category.
Designing Earth Contracting
East Bethel, Minnesota
Designing Earth Contracting (DEC), a site grading, excavation and utility company, had outgrown their space. Their new 20,000 sq. ft building includes combines maintenance and shop space on the first floor with a vibrant, branding gathering spaces on the upper floor. DEC’s new building reflects the company’s brand identity and values, provides employees with a functional and beautiful work environment, and sets the foundation for future growth and success.
The first floor shop space includes a crane system for large equipment maintenance and a heated wash bay for year-round use. The second floor houses a training area, kitchenette and bar with open space for entertaining, fitness room, golf simulator, and exterior deck with pergola and grill. The space is warm and inviting with a fireplace, wood accent walls, pendant lighting, and millwork with open shelving.
